Garden Design Project Overview
This garden design project in Epsom was a full redesign and regrade of the existing outdoor space at a new build property. The garden was a generous size, and our client desired a modern, functional garden that they could enjoy with the whole family.
Taming Mother Nature provided a range of services to renovate this landscape, including the installation of fencing, paving for the terrace, a bespoke pergola build, and planting design.
Porcelain Terrace And Bespoke Pergola Seating Area
To create the fresh, modern appearance our clients desired, we relied on porcelain paving for the main seating area. The modern terrace was adorned with Mediterranean-inspired seating, providing an inviting seating area for the whole family to enjoy.
We designed and installed a bespoke oak pergola in the sunniest corner of the garden, to provide shade and shelter where it was needed most. With this installation, we created a dedicated spot in the garden for relaxing and socialising, giving the space a sense of purpose.
Updated Fencing Scheme
The entire boundary of this garden was updated with a redesigned fencing scheme. To complement the modern property and garden design, we used double-slatted cladding. This not only has a contemporary finish, but also enhances privacy in the garden.
Planting Design And Supply
As well as the hardscaping within this garden design, we also provided a bespoke planting design and supply. This modern garden now features a diverse range of ornamental grasses, shrubs, and structural planting for year-round appeal. Key species included Stipa Gigantea, Hydrangea Annabelle and Limelight, Pittosporum Tom Thumb, Catmint Walkers Low, Salvia, Cordyline, Ilex Crenata topiary balls, Choisya Aztec Pearl, and Photinia Red Robin.
