Paving Installation Overview
This paving installation project took place in Epsom, Surrey, to level out a garden and make it a safe, accessible environment.
Taming Mother Nature is a leading paving installer and was asked to renovate this traditional gravel garden, creating an even level that directed our clients from the decking to the rest of the garden. The existing site was primarily gravel paving, with stepping stones and multiple steps, as well as a misused terrace area.
We were also asked to repair their existing shed, which had been leaking, and create a more private boundary across the garden wtih fencing.
Patio And Paving Installation
We used Candida Grey paving slabs for the new patio area, which is now level and easily accessible from all levels of the garden.
This landscape now has no more rises or trip hazards, as we have levelled the surface and made everything even. Our clients can seamlessly walk from the decking to the new patio area, allowing them to take advantage of the whole outdoor area.
Garden Terrace Design
Our clients are keen gardeners and wanted a space that they could make their own with planting. While the primary focus of this project was the paving installation, we also renovated the larger terrace area to give the space renewed purpose.
This lower level of the garden caught most of the sunlight and was a prime spot for planting. We installed raised planters and left them blank for our clients to fill as the season progresses.
Project Outcome
Our clients now have a safe, modern garden that is accessible throughout the year. We have repaired their existing shed and strengthen the garden boundaries with fencing. The sleek grey paving adds a contemporary appearance to the landscape and creates a level surface. The raised planters are ready to be filled with seasonal blooms and shrubs by our clients.
